Volunteers
We are grateful for the hard work of our volunteers.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for your interest in serving our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and community spirit. Whether you’re helping during a distribution, sorting donations, or supporting behind the scenes, your time truly makes a difference.
Volunteer Portal
We have a variety of ways volunteers support the foodbank, from weekly roles to monthly commitments to one‑time tasks. You can see the current openings on our volunteer portal. This is where you can register as a volunteer, view available opportunities and sign up for shifts.
Please note: As a partner within the Idaho Foodbank and Feeding America network, all our adult volunteers are required to sign a confidentiality agreement during the onboarding process. This helps ensure that sensitive information is handled appropriately and supports the standards we follow in the partnership network.
After creating your profile, you can log in anytime to choose the dates that work best for you. Because sorting and shelving shifts are especially popular, please space these sign‑ups at least five to six weeks apart so everyone has a chance to participate
Food or Diaper Drives
Holding a food or diaper drive is a great way to support your neighbors who are in need. High school and middle school students, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other service organizations are can hold a food drive and are welcome to come in to sort the food they have collected.
Check out our Donations page for a list of items that we regularly need.
